Laser Katana

Laser Katana is a weapon in Abiotic Factor. It uses laser charge, like the Deatomizer, and must be charged from a Laser Collector before use or after depleting the charge.

Uses

Unlike the Sword, the Laser Katana is a ranged weapon which hits an arc of enemies at a range similar to the Electro-Thrower. A laser beam indicates the direction of a strike during the sword swing.

Notes

• The Laser Katana seems to deal Laser damage as its direct damage when it's charged, but deals Sharp instead if its charge is depleted.
• Despite not being a Heavy Weapon, the Laser Katana does not allow the use of shields.
• The Laser Katana receives a bonus from the Blunt Melee skill while charged and from Sharp Melee when not charged, despite not receiving XP to either skill.
• While discharged it still does the bonus laser damage, it just doesn't emit the laser arc.
