Abiotic Factor Wiki is a community project run entirely by volunteers to provide information for the game.

Our community of editors is open to anyone. If you would like to join in:

• Be bold
  • There's no need to wait. Jump right in and start editing. The wiki maintenance category may be a great place to start, or you can start small by fixing spelling, grammar, and other errors you come across.

• Stubs
  • See a list of all the articles that must still be expanded upon.

• Outdated articles
  • See a list of all the articles that are no longer up to date due to a recent update.

  • Check the Community Projects section in this page to find a project to work

• Start a new article (or just type a new article name in search box)

  • See a list of recent changes.

Community Projects

• Missing Pages
  • As the game updates, more items/npcs/enemies are added. Not all recent additions are on the wiki yet.
    • How to contribute:
      • Found a item/person/enemy in-game that doesnt have a page? Create it!
      • Get as much information about the subject as possible but for items at least have the: name, item description, flavor text (cyan text), weight and salvage items, which can be found by hovering over the item in-game.
      • Look for other similar pages for inspiration.
      • See Template:Item, Template:Person and Template:Enemy for help with the templates.

• Update Item pages
  • Content in Items pages is based on content from the Demo. All items page needs to be revised with the current game release.
    • Infobox details will be filled automatically with a script later

• Create pages for Objects
  • The Objects section is missing a lot of objects, specially Deployable Objects and Interactable Objects
    • Infobox details will be filled automatically with a script later

• Mechanics
  • Each item from Mechanics page need an in-depth description.
  • Some pages for mechanics are stubs and need to be expanded upon
  • Some mechanics changed from the Demo and need to be updated

• Lore dump!
  • Describe all Enemies
  • Expand the Registry
  • Create pages for all People in-game
  • Document Emails and Holograms
  • Create pages for Locations and update the Maps

• Jobs Page
  • Update Names
  • Update gear and traits
