Quill Rifle

Quill Rifle is a weapon in Abiotic Factor. It is a fully-automatic weapon, similar in firing behavior to a Montese SMG, Grinder, or Patois Rifle, with noticeable recoil and crosshair rise. The Quill Rifle deals Acid damage, making it quite strong against enemy types that resist bullet damage and/or are vulnerable to acid damage, such as Defense Robot, Armored Exor, and Breacher. The quill ammo is described as being "Homing", as of the latest update; the quill homing is significantly more effective than previous updates.

The Seeker Quill ammo can usually be retrieved after firing, both from surfaces and from corpses. However, chopping up a corpse will destroy any bolts that are stuck to it. The Vacuum can be used to easily retrieve bolts from a corpse, even those the player can't reach manually due to the corpse's position. Projectile Pickup, gained at the fifth level of the Throwing skill, will also retrieve the quills automatically.

Despite being described as a rifle, the Quill Rifle can be used alongside a shield.
