Some Distant Shore is one of several Portal Worlds the player can discover.

Description

Some Distant Shore is a secret portal world. The player has a 1% chance of being teleported there when sitting on a Portal Toilet with the Toilet Time or Toilet Emergency status (15 Continence or less). This does not occur if the player has the Bleeding or Severe Bleeding effect.

Resources

The only resource located here is liquid feces that can be collected in containers and fished from. Fishing here will often result in Bio Scrap or Bags of Feces, but is also the exclusive location of a rare Portal Fish variant.

Trivia

• The original release of 0.9.0 had a bug where Some Distant Shore could only be accessed if the player had the Bleeding or Severe Bleeding effect while on the Portal Toilet, in addition to the 1% chance and continence level requirement. This was due to the check for Bleeding not being negated as intended. It was corrected in a hotfix.
• In 0.9.0, it was possible to spam attempting to sit on an unpowered Portal Toilet while at low Continence, with interact is bound to the scrollwheel. This would both drain Continence and roll the chance to teleport. This was corrected in 0.9.1.
