Security Sector

Description
The Security Sector is one of the sectors within GATE. It is between the Office and Cascade Laboratories and the only route to the Hydroplant.
It consists of multiple layers of security doors, small offices, a vehicle storage bay, and storage areas arranged in a semicircle around a central elevator — the surface elevator. There are also training facilities for the respective Security Staff and a driving test area.
Due to operating staff from GATE visiting before the cascade event, the security sector is completely locked down. By the time the player arrives, the whole sector is in a state of semi-darkness, littered with blood and destroyed Defense Robots. There are also few or no powered outlets to be used.
Light sources will flicker when the Reaper is nearby. The players are sent to The Night Realm if they are caught. Like the Leyak, it is also sensitive to X-ray beams. If an X-ray beam is used against the Reaper, it will be temporarily staggered and drop Night Essence before becoming enraged and chasing the player, attacking them with its scythes instead of grabbing them.

- Orange portals in the shape of a cathedral gate are an alternate way of accessing The Night Realm.

- Occasionally the overhead announcer will speak using a monotone voice, and intersperse an unknown dialect similar to the Reaper's own throughout the message.
