Office Sector

The Office Sector is a location within the GATE Cascade Research Facility.

Description

The Office Sector is a three-floor section within GATE's facility. Between the Cascade Laboratories and Manufacturing West, by the player's arrival, it is nearly devoid of human life, save for a few who are either stranded or choose to stay. Other areas are locked, but they are opened elsewhere.

Locations

Level 1
- Cafeteria - the starting area. It is relatively safe and large, with several amenities, including four vending machines.
- Plaza - an open area immediately following the cafeteria. Relatively safe during the day, but has a Security Robot on patrol at night. Near Warren's security checkpoint is a Charging Station and a button to reset Platform Carts. Loot bags from player deaths may appear here rather than the location of death as a fail-safe to prevent loss if the game believes they are in an inaccessible area.
Level 2
- Data Farm - a large area full of many computers. A great place for farming computer parts such as Coils and Circuit Boards. It also features a Security Bot, a Charging Station and a kitchen with a Slushie Machine.
- Gym - Features a large pool which can be used as a Tainted Water source.
- Bio Lab D - Located between the Reception and Pool area, near the Elevator to Level 3. It contains various useful materials for gardening, including Soil Bags, Hoses, and Tomato Seeds.
- Executive Offices - Unlocked using a Keypad Hacker (Tier 2). Contains a Cacophonous Crate
- Security Office - Has a firing range with several 9mm Ammo pickups, as well as a Charging Station. A Security Pack can be found inside the locker room.
Level 3
- Silo 2 - Entrance to Far Garden.
- Silo 3 - Entrance to Flathill.
- Physics Lab D - Contains a GATE Security Crate.

Tram Locations

Most of the Office Sector's trams are located in the central plaza on Level 1:

The first tram (red) nearest to the fountain leads to The Blacksmith's Foundry in Manufacturing West.

The second tram (red) leads to a station near the dig site and The Train portal in Manufacturing West.

The third tram (purple) leads to the aquariums in Cascade Laboratories and has a second stop in the Containment Block.

The fourth tram (yellow) leads around the facility and into the Hydroplant.

There is a fifth tram terminal located on Office Sector Level 2 in the data farm area overlooking the outside, which leads to the Power Services in the Reactors.

A sixth tram terminal can be found locked behinds doors near the reception, to the right of the elevator leading to the third floor, leading to the currently closed-off Residence Sector.
