Refined Carbon can be found obtained by exchanging Silver Scrap for Refined Carbon in one of the exchange machines found in Adjustment, at level 3 of the Labs Sector, or by breaking certain machines holding Refined Carbons (similar to machines that contain Anteverse Gems) throughout Adjustment.
