Carapace is an item in Abiotic Factor. It is dropped by the Scuttlebug in The Mycofields or Village Den da'ko Yeer.

Carapace is obtained by killing Scuttlebugs in The Mycofields or Village Den da'ko Yeer. It's necessary to crouch in order to get close to the Scuttlebug and kill them, otherwise it will retreat into their cave and the player will then have to move away and wait a few seconds for them to come out again.
