Silver Scrap can be obtained by scrapping Exquisite Chains using a Repair and Salvage Station. Silver Scrap can be found in these locations:
The Train
- Throughout the train, up until the train car with radioactive waste
Canaan
- In a small campsite near the portal spawn, where the Transrecon badge can be found
- Close to the well
- Sometimes dropped by Canaanites
Reactors
- Obtained by destroying the Reactors Wood Crates found throughout the sector, especially in the Dusk Reactor and Gale Reactor areas
Shadowgate
- Two Reactors Wood Crates can be found in Shadowgate - one is close to a cabin and to a campfire with three Witches dancing around it and another is inside the facility, in the garage

Uses
Silver Scrap is used to create Uncooked Solder when combined with Metal Scrap in a pot full of Water.
Can be traded for Refined Carbon with a Quantum Exchanger found in Adjustment at level 3 of Cascade Laboratories.
