Metal Pipe can be obtained by dismantling Metal Pipes on the walls found throughout the game and randomly from breaking Office Wood Crates, Manufacturing Wood Crates, Security Wood Crates and Defense Wood Crates. Good sources to find plenty of Metal Pipes are:

• Throughout levels 1 and 2 of the Office Sector
• At the top of the arcade in Flathill, right after obtaining the first Power Cell
• Reactors, in the Mist Reactor area, close to a Warning Sign and a large group of exploding pests
• In the Mist Reactor area, inside the Supply Room
• In the Mist Reactor area, breaking the Metal Pipes in (and around) the pool area with Zombies
