Capacitor can be obtained by killing Electro-Pests (many of which can be found in level 2 of Cascade Laboratories, in the Lobby and in the Particle Lab) or by killing Power Leeches during the Rolling Blackouts Weather Event.

It can also be obtained by destroying Reactors Wood Crates found throughout Reactors, especially in the Dusk Reactor and Gale Reactor areas. Two boxes can also be found in Shadowgate - one is close to a cabin and to a campfire with three Witches dancing around it and another is inside the facility, in the garage.

It's also obtained by breaking Transcendium Analysis Machines in Reactors, in these locations:

• In the Dusk Reactor area, on the second level, in a room full of machines and a wandering Volatile Exor
• In the Dusk Reactor area, in a laboratory on the second level, where Dr. Suan Tengku is
• In the Gale Reactor area, in a room close to an elevator shaft that has a ladder going into the water below
