Wood Plank is a common resource often found throughout the game. It can be obtained through a variety of methods such as salvaging certain items and breaking Office Wood Crates, Manufacturing Wood Crates, Mine Crates, Security Wood Crates, Defense Wood Crates, Reactors Wood Crates, Cement Pallets, and Wooden Pallets.

A good strategy to obtain lots of Wood Plank is to break these destroyable objects found commonly throughout the game or by dismantling wooden furniture, such as Office Desks.

Many Wood Planks can be obtained from breaking destroyable objects or dismantling furniture in these locations:

Office Sector

• Level 2
  • In the gym, locker room and pool area
  • In the hallway
  • In the Data Farms
  • In an area close to the Data Farms that requires a Keypad Hacker (Tier 2) to access

Manufacturing West

• Inside and outside of the Supply Room
• Taking the elevator down from the Control Tower, in an area with lots of radioactive waste and containers
• In the mines area that's close to the green pipe, where one Optic Lens is needed
• In the area with The Synchrotron
• Inside Shipping

The Train

• In a train car with various wooden crates

Cascade Laboratories

• In the Wildlife Pens area

Reactors

• In the Mist Reactor area, close to the pool area with Zombies, breaking the many Wooden Pallets in an area full of enemies, close to a Natural Beehive and a Wall Clock (alternatively, going down the first elevator in Mist Reactor, after it's activated)

Shadowgate

• Past the first forcefields, breaking pallets and crates throughout the area
