Tram

Tram is a ridable vehicle in Abiotic Factor.

Description

The Tram allows the player to get around most of the map, bypassing the original route needed to unlock it in the first place. And is ideal for transporting multiple players from one location to another. While the GATE Security Cart can also hold multiple players, the tram can hold significantly more. Unlike other vehicles that require repairing, the Tram is locked to specific predetermined paths.

Storage

The Tram has 18 inventory slots, the same as the craftable Platform Cart. The storage case can be located in the inside front of the Tram, where the player enters the vehicle.

Locations

The tram system has multiple lines that begin or end up in the Office Sector Level 1 and 2.

The office tram system leads to six destinations.

Office Plaza:

• Tram (red) to Manufacturing West, leads to The Blacksmith.
• Tram (red) to Manufacturing West, leads to the mines and The Train portal.
• Tram (purple) to Cascade Laboratories, leads to the aquariums and has a second stop in the Containment Block.
• Tram (yellow) to Hydroplant, leads to the start of the sector near the exit of the Security Sector.

Office Level 2:

• Tram (yellow/overgrown), leads from Power Services in Reactors to Data Farm.
• Tram (blue/yellow), leads from Residences to the hallway next to the elevator to level 3.

There are two tram lines that are contained within the Reactors Sector.

Reactors:

• Tram (purple), leads to Dusk Reactor and has a dead-end around Gale Reactor.
• Tram (yellow), leads to Cloud Reactor and has a dead-end around Mist Reactor.

There are two tram lines that are connected to the Residence Sector.

Residences:

• Tram (blue/yellow) to the Office Sector level 2 hallway next to the elevator.
• Tram (blue/yellow) to Manufacturing West, leads to a path behind The Blacksmith and a room with a portal to the Office Sector.

Trivia

• There is technically another Tram in the game, different from the main Trams. Although it is a massive elevator, it uses the same "Request Tram" buttons as the regular tram.
  • It's in Cascade Laboratories, in the Containment Block.
    • Only transports vertically, and doesn't have any storage.
    • It's size is large enough to lift vehicles along with it's occupants.
