Clearance

GATE, and especially GATE Cascade Research Facility utilize a color-coded system for restricting access to information and locations within their Facilities. These levels are, in order from least to highest access: [FILL IN HERE AFTER CHECKING AREAS AND KEYPAD COLORS].

Curiously, despite this restriction, the GATE Pal will still reveal information about People or Subjects when they are encountered, perhaps due to an "emergency mode".

Blue Clearance

Blue Clearance seems to be the most common clearance for GATE staff. It is the clearance given to the player at the start of the game.

??? Clearance (Level 1 Hacking)

This level seems to cover elevated privileges for security personnel or logistics staff which need to access and operate surveillance monitors, security doors, and dangerous equipment such as Weapons or Vehicles.

Curiously, the bathrooms in Manufacturing Sector's garage area are locked behind a Keypad of Level 1 clearance.
