GATE Pal

The GATE Pal is a device given to the player during their induction into the GATE Cascade Research Facility. It holds valuable information that the player will gather as they progress.

The GATE Pal starts pre-opened to the map. From there, the player can switch to other apps in the Compendium. The Compendium contains several apps, each dedicated to specific info:

Soup Recipes

A list of theoretical soup recipes and recipes the player has already discovered.

E-mail

All the emails the player has discovered through Email Terminals.

Entities

All enemies the player has learned about either through encountering them or reading about them in emails.

Locations

An overview of notable locations the player has visited or read about.

Registry

A list of Immurement Subjects the player will have heard or read about.

Fish

A list of all obtainable fish, their description and possible resources.

People

A brief overview of Notable GATE employees.

Theories

Current theories held by GATE scientists.

Unlocking Entries

Some entries require special conditions to be met before they become available. These conditions may include talking to specific NPCs, entering certain areas, listening to certain announcements, reading certain emails, or killing a certain number of a given enemy.
