The Cascade Armor Set can be obtained through crafting. The armor set can be considered an end-game craftable solution as it provides a high amount of protection using items found in later areas such as Cascade Laboratories, The Mycofields, the Security Sector, the Hydroplant and Voussoir.
Each piece is similar in weight and durability to the Carapace Armor Set but offers higher armor protection. A partial set of the armor provides the Motion Sensor passive, allowing the player to detect nearby enemies who are engaged in combat, and a complete set offers the Threat Sensor passive, allowing the detection of all nearby enemies.
To make the full Cascade Armor Set, a number of items are needed:
4 Carbon Plating, 2 Cog, 4 Coil Winding, 18 Kevlar Scrap, 6 Leather Scrap, 4 Magnetic Alloy, 4 Motor, 1 Neutrino Mapper, 1 Photon Receptor, 2 Rotary Pump, 8 Sensor, and 4 Toroidal Power Transformer.
