Leyak Essence is a resource item in Abiotic Factor. Four of the Essences are used as "Flow Control Modules" to turn off the X-Ray machine within Cascade Laboratories to access the Control Center.

Sources

Leyak Essence can be obtained by using the X-Ray Tower or X-Ray Lamp against the Leyak. It can also be obtained by butchering IS-0098.

Trades

• Leyak Essence can be traded for Greyeb Seed in one of the Exchangers found in Adjustment at level 2 of Cascade Laboratories.

Notes

• Due to its extreme radiation output, it is recommended the player equip a Hazardous Materials Suit or a Rat Suit while carrying it. The Research Pack is also helpful to reduce incoming radiation while holding it.
• It can be consumed, but doing so causes the character to die.
