A vertical health bar on the lower left corner of the screen shows the character's health, along with a character portrait showing the health for each body part (blue for no damage, yellow for light damage, red for high damage). Triple arrows pointing upwards (green) or downwards (red) indicate that the player is either healing or taking damage, respectively. The "X" circle graphic indicates the ability to use the "Quick Heal" wheel (which is bound to "X" by default) that allows the player to quickly use a healing item from their inventory. Taking damage will lower the health bar and also cause limbs to change into yellow or red according to how much damage that limb has suffered. Health, along with each limb's health, recovers gradually over time or by using certain items, like the Healing Syringe. Limbs may also suffer negative conditions from damage taken (see Traits below).
Issues
Certain types of injuries can cause the player to have negative debuffs like Broken Legs, Bleeding or simply low health. To get rid of these negative health statuses the player can use Health and Medical items, like Splints, Bandages, and Healing Syringes.
Being near a Crafting Bench with the Dioxohealer upgrade grants the Dioxohealer buff, which can also help to passively alleviate most injuries.
