Winter Cabin

Winter Cabin is the third Home World added to Abiotic Factor, it is a part of the free 1.2.0 XMAS Update released on December 15, 2025. Winter Cabin features a frosty mountain log cabin with an overlook into a valley lit up by a permanent nightly aurora sky.

Home Worlds require a Keypad Hacker (Tier 1) to access and can be found in the main lobby of the Office Sector.

Notes

• Winter Cabin can be accessed from the second floor down in the home world teleporter room after completing North Pole and defeating The Snowman.

• The cabin is surrounded by impassable snow terrain, resulting in a death when stepped upon.

• Winter Cabin has no enemies, the Leyak does not appear, however assault events will happen but can be mitigated with a crafting bench's portal suppression field, making it a mostly peaceful place to build and loiter.
  • Pets can be teleported in using the Pest Teleporter and traveling traders are able to show up in Winter Cabin.

Secret

(Spoiler warning for a small environmental puzzle)

1. Next to the exit portal, hop over the fence and stand on the protruding floor from the fireplace (on the outside). Around the corner will be a Gus bird which functions as a button. Press the button.

2. In the cabin, pass the fireplace and stairs, go through the doors and outside will be a wooden wall with another button. Press the button.

Result: The wall will open up and reveal a small shrine with the Snowman Figurine.
