North Pole

North Pole, also known as IS-0188, is a Christmas-themed Portal World inside the snow globe known as IS-0105.

How to Access

A snow globe, IS-0105, can be found in a holding cell numbered IS-0127 in Cascade Laboratories' Containment Block Dirac, which can be accessed after the security system in the area has been reset. The snow globe can be packaged, moved freely and will bring the player to North Pole when touched.

Using the portal exit will bring the player back to IS-0127's holding cell and unlocks Winter Cabin as a home world. Defeating IS-0127 will also unlock the cabin.

Description

North Pole is described as a frozen, yet oddly alluring Christmas scene. It is a small, snowy, Christmas-themed town with a giant tree in the center that has been split in half and lit on fire.

Upon arrival in North Pole the player will be on a wooden train platform that occasionally has a train pass through, after it has made a full loop around the town. The train is driven by former TransRecon member Simon Harkness, spouting various lines of Christmas Merriment.

IS-0127, also known as The Snowman, can be found in front of the burning tree. When the player adjusts its hat, it will engage in combat and attack the player. When defeated it will drop "Carrot", Snowman's Top Hat and Snowman's Scarf.

A building with an open wall will have the Sleigh vehicle, which can be driven around and has 2 seats.

The Wishing Shelf can be found in a big building to the right of the tree, it is a unique piece of furniture that can duplicate up to 3 uncraftable resource items after a portal world reset.

The portal exit is located at the top of the tallest building, above several flights of stairs.

Trivia

• The Wristwatch will show a distorted date and time inside North Pole, as if time doesn't exist.
• Should the player shake IS-0105 prior to entering, or while other players are inside North Pole, blizzard-like weather will occur for a few seconds.
• The player cannot place another IS-0105 down in this location.
