Mechanics

Damaging a Natural Beehive without wearing a Beekeeper Suit will causes the bees to swarm the player and sting them, causing damage and the Uncomfortable Swelling debuff. Making distance between yourself and the beehive will allow the player to escape the swarm, until the next time they try to damage the hive without the suit.

Notes

• Despite the update notes stating that the Bees seem attracted to antejuice, there is no Natural Beehive near the Antejuice Pool in Manufacturing West.

• Despite being present in Far Garden, and theoretically able to be harvested without the Beekeeper Suit by way of ranged and throwing weapons from out of range of angry bees, there is no real reason to do so, as both the materials to make the Beekeeper suit and the only use for the Queen Bee dropped by Natural Beehives are Beehives, the materials for both of which unlock at the exact same location in The Train.
