Mountaineer

Mountaineers are found in Voussoir, and are often seen patrolling or in stationary locations. They are also commonly found in a squad with other Order soldiers.

Gameplay

Behavior

Like other Order soldiers, the Mountaineer can be observed either stationary or patrolling alongside other soldiers. They are hostile to entities, robots and the player.

Combat Tips

Ranged weapons are good options to use against Mountaineers, as they'll periodically try to move away from the player.

Shields can be used to block their shots, besides their melee attacks.

Drops

Mountaineer Helmets will only drop when hitting Mountaineer in the head with a blunt/heavy weapon, or shooting it off (the Makeshift Crossbow and Grinder do not work). Helmets can be knocked off even if the Mountaineer is dead.
