Dr. Mark Kesey (also known as the Fisherman) is a character found at the docks in the Canaan portal world.
Lore
Dr. Mark Kesey is one of the four GATE TransRecon operatives who went to Canaan to investigate the area and learn about the Lodestone. Much to their surprise, the villagers proved to be too many, and two of them were caught and killed. He disguised himself as a Fisherman and convinced the inhabitants of Canaan that he spent his days on the pier catching fish. He tries to avoid attracting as much attention as possible, hoping that someone will eventually rescue him and Dr. Lenora Riggs.

The cavalry's not coming, keep your head down, or you'll end up a Christmas ornament on one of those goddamn trees. There's a chance Dr. Riggs is still alive, though - I heard them yammering about a 'Witch' lurking in the swamp ... But everyone's a witch or demon to these freaks, so who knows. I'd bet Lenora's doing just fine... Heck, maybe she even knows what happened to our portal gear ... but reaching her through the mines, and the swamp ... good luck. Now, if you don’t mind ...
