Long Jump Pack
Long Jump Pack is a gear item in Abiotic Factor. It allows the player to boost their jump in the direction they are traveling, while also serving as a backpack with a total of 30 slots.

When entering a Portal World for the first time, the long jump pack will not function until fully calibrated to the new portal environment. Players cannot use the long jump pack until they have completed the Portal World at least once.
The player can press the jump key while in the air to be propelled forward, allowing the player to jump farther than the jetpack typically would allow. Additional jumps deplete energy in bursts similar to the jetpack.
Additional jumps also quickly fills a red heat bar in bursts that goes down, limiting the flight time of a single burst. However, with the Dangling Gravity Cube and pressing and releasing jump with a certain rhythm, it's possible to prolong the heat bar and fly much farther and higher until the battery is drained.
If the Long Jump Pack overheats, the player must return to solid ground to allow the Long Jump Pack to cool off before it can be used again.
The Long Jump Pack completely changes movement in the game, allowing the player to skip certain areas and preventing fall damage in almost every circumstance.
Trivia
- The Long Jump Pack is a reference to the Long Jump Module from Half-Life.
- The Long Jump Pack does not need to be equipped to the player's backpack slot to be used. When in the player's hands in the hotbar, much like the Gravity Cube, the UI interface will show up on the hud as normal, and it will operate as expected.
