Interactable Objects

Interactable Objects are objects that can be interacted with but unlike items or deployable objects they are unmovable.

Unlike other objects, the name of interactable objects is sometimes displayed when the player aims at them. Some names in the following tables are given by players.

Vending machines

All items in vending machines cost $1, with the exception of Kizz Cola which costs $5. With 5 Strength, they can be shaken for a low chance at dropping a random item that the machine normally dispenses, regardless of if it is stocked or not. The two vending machines in front of the starting elevator uniquely guarantee a random item dispensed from their existing stock when shaken.

With 8 Strength, vending machines can be smashed with a Heavy Weapon, permanently removing them from being restocked overnight by Robots while dropping all of their current contents. Broken vending machines can still be shaken for items; players can choose to break machines they only plan to shake without losing the ability to gain items from them.

Vending machines in Portal Worlds such as Flathill or Voussoir respawn like other items, and are safe to smash without losing access to buying items from them in the future.

GATE Charging Station

GATE Charging Stations, unlike the portable counterparts, do not require power and continue to function when the power goes out at night. As the name suggests they can charge items and equipment with a Battery (Item Charge).

To charge items the player should have an item selected in their hotbar and pressing the interaction button. Alternatively, holding the interaction button will open a radial menu to choose what item to place.
