IC-0213 at first appears like a normal black goat.

IC-0213 was retrieved after being sold by a farmer in 1983, further inspection of the farm and its animals turned up nothing of interest. Considering the goat's age when it was purchased, it was seemingly born during 1981 and as such shall be transferred into The Red Wing for further study under Dr. Gartner.

Containment Protocols

IC-0213 requires a unique containment system that perfectly fits its native environment. With the assistance of Dr. Monroe, IC-0213's containment cell comes equipped with a state-of-the-art digital imagery system to manipulate the subject's environment instantly. This is required as IC-0213 is capable of physically manipulating the area around it. It's almost unbelievable, but it seems to be able to distort and alter reality on a small scale.

When interacting with IC-0213, if the scientist makes the subject upset, they will always be found dead at 3:33 AM the next day. The bodies have been studied, and the cause is unknown; it's as if their souls are just gone. Additionally, before the scientists deaths, they can be seen muttering incoherently with increased vitals and something resembling mania.

Normally I would leave this mundanity to my assistant, however IC Two-One-Three is a unique specimen that has earned my attention. Purchased from a rural farmer from Finland in 1983, the goat's birth falls flatly in 1981. My assistant and I made the trip to the farmhouse the goat was originally sold from and what we found was groundbreaking. Despite only being a couple years, the farm is ruined beyond measure. It looks as if it has been abandoned for decades. When we checked with the local farmers, we were told that the farm was owned by an old couple who passed away 30 years ago and nobody has lived there since. If this is true, then where did Two-One-Three come from and who was that farmer?

[email protected] I understand I gave you permission to do things your way, Dr. Gartner, but these casualty rates are unacceptable! More than six interns have died due to IC-0213 alone, and what do you have to show for it? If this trend continues, I'm going to have to shut down the 1981 Project. Do you understand?

[email protected] I don't think you quite comprehend what we have on our hands. Manse, this is a being with no precedence. It kills with a thought and an unknown method. If the 1981 Project is as big as you believe it is, then six interns are a small price to pay.

[email protected] Gartner, your lack of respect for human life is frankly unacceptable, and I am ashamed to be in your presence. It would be different if these deaths were accidental, but you're just feeding them to the subject. I demand you halt this behavior at once.
